monster, monster is an experimental animation that explores the dark and yet playful qualities of the monstrous. Using only a single piece of clay and a handful of salt several monsters morph in and out of the nightscape of our unconscious. These imaginary creatures are based on a collection of ‘monster’ stories that the artist collected from a residency in Koganecho, Yokohama, Japan.

Originally created in residence at Koganecho Art Bazaar 2014.
