public artwork for PCI Ambi on Cambie, 2026
9 bronze deities, 2D tri-colour story stone, QR code activated interactive website

Under(currency) presents 10 mythical and magical deities realized in a 2D tri-colour story stone, a bronze sculpture, and an interactive website bringing to life what is unseen and underneath the surface of the bustling day-to-day life and activities happening in the Marpole neighborhood. Created for the outdoor façade of the PCI Development and Ambi on Cambie’s West 41st multi-complex development, this public artwork brings new mythologies created through a community-engagement program with a group of grade 3 students from the neighbouring Osler Elementary School.
